today's kroger ad was rather disappointing.
I mean, it would be decent if I actually needed to buy a turkey. but seeing as its just the two of us, I don't need a good deal on a 10 lb turkey. for the love. do you KNOW how long we'd be eating that bird?
not bad on ham, either...but i just bought some ham, sliced it, and put it in the freezer.
I think I am disappointed because I was really hoping that boneless, skinless chicken breasts would be on sale.
Andrew flys up to his parents tomorrow to go hunting. This will be the first time we're away from eachother since we've been married. I'm not looking forward to it, at. all.
He will be back Monday. So basically, I will see him tomorrow (Thursday) morning, and then I won't see him again until Monday after I get home from work.
I am staying at Buddy and Frenchie's, with the exception of Friday night, at which time, I will be having a SLUMBER PARTY. I'm excited about this. But...I will still miss my husband.
I asked him last night if he was going to miss me. And he told me not to ask him questions I already knew the answer to. And then I thought he was just being toolish. But then he told me it was like asking him if he liked food. and it was sweet, even if it was an odd comparison.
lol. so i guess thats a good thing.
Our company is apprantly invited to eat some BBQ a couple businesses down at the O'Reiley's today. Hm. I'm excited about free food, and barbeque...but what if its sketchy?
Pretty much everything in Jackson is a little sketchy. Its the truth.
I think I will make someone from work walk down there with me, sometime between 11 and 2, and at least scope it out.
Oh. and for real? I am utterly convinced that people in this "great" state, TRULY do not know what turning signals are, and if they happen to see them, they don't have any idea what they mean.
I am not even kidding. I have NEVER seen anyone here use a turning signal. Ok. that is a stretch, but truly, not by much.
And this is not a stretch: Literally, every single time I have ever put on a turning signal and there has been someone even remotely close in the other lane, they have NEVER let me into their lane.
NEV.
ER.
not even joking.
bunch of dang ignorants. (is that a word? haha. wouldn't that be ironic?)
