Kate is leaving the KC area as of this Saturday.

She made this great mix Cd of songs, entitled, "Dena and Kate - Vol. 1" It basically has a bunch of songs that have "special meaning" to us...theme songs and soundtracks from our friendship.

So last night, I was going to bed, and she had completed the cd, so she wanted me to hear it before i went to bed. So she put it in the cd player and scanned through the first few seconds of the first several songs. Walk with me, Penny 'n Me, Marianne, Love is a Battlefield.....

And then I was "not listening" and made her turn the cd off and I told her I'd listen to it later.

Because I definately started to cry.

True story.

I think she just thought I wanted to go to sleep.

I don't want her to leave.
