Ok. so last night dad and I played Scattegories. It was SO funny. He had never played before.

On the first round, the Letter was "J." One of the things on the list was "Magazines". When each round was over and we would compare answers, thats when the hilarity started. Ok. so for magazines, he definately put "Jaques Costeau." LMBO. I was like ..."DAD. Jacques Costeau is DEFINATELY not the name of a magazine!" And i'm laughing my head off. And he goes "Probably not." lol.

And then for "candy type" he put down "Jerky" and i was like, "DAD...JERKY IS NOT A CANDY!" And i'm laughing through all of these, of course. And hes like, "well, yes it is!" and i was like "its a snack" and he thought for a minute and goes "....oh. i was thinking of taffy." LOL

then for Candy type i put down "Juicy fruit." and dad was like "Dena. Thats not a candy, thats a gum." LOL. and i was like. "AHHH. i was thinking of Starbursts." LOL.

And this is the last one i took a note about so that i could remember: Dad has bad arthritis and stuff, so he has a hard time writing clearly...so for one of these, he never could tell what it was that he wrote down. And so hes like "I don't know. It starts with a J, though." LOL

seriously....we laughed so hard.

its probably a total "you had to be there" thing but i thought it was too good not to write about.

i had a lot of fun with my dad

so last night i had a dream that i was getting married.

but not in the traditional sense of the theme.

it was like...a total spur of the moment thing. kind of. i guess it was something that was talked about, more of in a joking manner for a short amount of time. but then it was like we're really doing this, its not just a joke....

but....the day before, i went to pick out a wedding dress, or whatever, and i told the dressmaker they could make it however they wanted it, as long as it was this ivory color. lol. but then i remember being all concerned because then i wasn't wearing white on my wedding day. I remember beth ann being there

but the next day rolled around and when i got to wherever i was going to put on my wedding dress, and i realized i didn't bring my bodice-bra thing to go on under the dress. (which in real life, i don't even OWN, but its something brides really do wear under their dress). and someone, i think beth ann, was like "don't worry, your house is not far from here, we can get it to you in plenty of time." lol. and the dress ended up being kinda ugly. like on the top, it had this detailing that looked like a whole bunch of rope all knotted up or something. lol.

i remember seeing my aunt linda. everyone was running around, trying to call people and contact people to come to the ceremony. rediculous. and i remember thinking that debbie (the woman i work for) had NO idea and that i really wanted her to be there, so that i needed to call her. lol.

hm. lets see. what else. oh. i think...something about the vows. either we were trying to decide what exactly to say...or we needed to find a preacher...or...something. lol. and i think there were no rings.

anyway. the whole thing was totally hokie. lol. for real.

and i remember just being really excited because i was going to get to have some cake. lol. no lie.

SO...I've started keeping track of "The Budget". I created this pretty extensive Excel document that holds a worksheet of my income and a worksheet with my Expenses. Andrew has encouraged me to do this. Which is a really good thing. Because I am totally unmotivated to do such things on my own. I need some prodding and encouragement, which he heartily brings. hehe. So yeah. Hopefully I will keep up with it. I plan to. Its going great so far. I feel better already. I'm one of those people who hates to start a project (like creating an excel document and trying to figure out a plan of attack), but LOVES it once that ball is rolling and things are so much more in place. I'm a freak, i guess. Hopefully this will help me be a better steward and to see where i need to cut back with the ole spending.

also...last night....kate and i had "adventures" in target. it was so awesome. there was more contraceptive sillyness. and then we went into the women's clothing area and found ....oh YES....footy pajamas. we were so excited. they were on the clearance rack. and they were size large. lol. but we put them on, over our clothes, right there in the clothing dept. lol. it was awesome. we were laughing SO hard. it was awesome.

then we found fun hats on clearance. so kate put on like 4 stocking caps ...and a scarf. and i took a picture with my phone. it was so funny. everything is always so funny with kate.

then we got back to my house. two things to say about that: jumpin' in the house of God, and Do you want a revolution? LMBO. RAWK.

also. we were chatting with Ellie online. and that produced much laughter too. hehe

then, last night i had a dream and ellie and kate were both in it. i don't remember everything, really. anna was also in it. but i do remember one thing very specifically. Ellie had her baby, and when i saw it, i started weeping. Like...profusely weeping. (is that a word to use with 'weeping?') Anyway. I was overjoyed and moved beyond belief.
