I laughed SO hard. I literally threw my head back and was so noisy that I startled myself...and everyone around me. It was brilliant. She didn't miss a BEAT. BRILLIANT.

note: mom and I split one of mom's old skool favorite drinks, Brandy Alexander. It is GOOD. I have found a new favorite. (Hmmm...that link says its a Brandy Alexandra. But we asked for a Brandy Alexander and thats what mom always had. But its the same way she remembered it. Hmmmm. The mix for Brandy ALexander doesn't list ice cream as an ingredient. Ours def. had ice cream. Who knows whats up.)

Why its the SOTM:
Tonight, I went to a coffee house and caught my good friend Zach's sister and her boyfriend play the last song in their set (complete with guitar and cello). They covered "Volcano" by Damien Rice. ....There are no words. It. was. amazing. Not to mention completely inspiring. They totally nailed it. (I think I may have drooled a little. I'm not sure.) So, when I got home, I put my playlist onto Damien Rice songs. And this one came on. And I put it on repeat. And then I sat down with my guitar. Its perfectly fitting for tonight. It is raining. And its breathtaking.
